This is a delicious and amazingly balanced Cabernet showing fleshy currant, dried black cherry fruit, sandalwood, modest tannins and an elegant finish with a wisp of mint. The vanilla oak adds a third dimension, but is appropriately restrained so as not to hide the fresh fruit and earthy tones. Serving Suggestion: Roast beef sandwiches dipped au jus; beef stew with carrots, potatoes and bay leaf or just for drinking on its own. |
