| Description: | The 2020 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Binomio Collezione is dark and imposing with a brooding blend of crushed blackberries, grilled herbs, ashen stone and lifting hints of camphor. This is surprisingly juicy and round with silky textures and depths of saturating, tart wild berry fruits. It finishes tremendously long, leaving a staining of primary concentration and a coating of grippy tannins, all offset by a bump of residual acidity. The balance here is simply stunning. The 2020 is flashy yet truly harmonious. |
