| Description: | Sometimes they leave the wines on the skins for 3 months and this long maceration time and they use a basket press and they have a lot of work in the vineyard to keep the grapes healthy and the grapes mature quicker they pick with lower sugar and higher acidity, they do not fine or filter their wines. This wine used to be called riserva this wine was rejected from the DOCG for the lack of intensity, they changed the discipline in tasting this is rom Galestro soils, 5% canaiolo a bit of a black tar like spice. Nice structure and intensity here on the tongue with red berry fruit a nice touch of earth and spice with a lovely freshness and a long finish. Finish 45+ Excellent +. |
