The palate is a riot of fresh dark berries and delivers a very plush, sweetly spiced, powder-dry finish. Drink or hold. -James Suckling, 92 pts  Smoky, toasty and cocoa notes frame a core of ripe blackberry, currant, blood orange and licorice flavors in this fruit-centered red. Well-integrated tannins and orange peel acidity keep this focused. -Wine Spectator, 90 pts  Winemaker's Note: Very intense cherry red color with tones of purple. Presents in the nose a great concentration of aromas of ripe red fruit with floral nuances. In the mouth it is a well structured rich wine that evokes tastes of blackberry, plum and tones of leather and vanilla, with a soft and silky tannin. |
