| Description: | A unique blend of Garnacha, Cariñena, and Tempranillo. This full-bodied wine has chewy tannins and a strong, leathery, rustic spine with traces of eucalyptus aromas. Although modern in style, the earthy scents, and creamy finish are typical of Spanish wine. Although not originally a Kosher wine-producing facility, in 1995 the Jewish community of Barcelona asked Capçanes if they could produce a kosher wine. This demanded the installation of new equipment allowing the winemakers to identify, isolate, and vinify under controlled "Lo Mevushal" conditions small parcels of high quality fruit. The result is undeniably some of the highest quality kosher reds coming from Spain. Kosher for Passover. |
