| Description: | Vineyards for this wine are sourced from the Mayacamas Mountain range at 1,800 ft, which is higher than the Empire State Building in New York City. 100%-barrel fermentation and lees (spent yeast) stirring is used here to add an extra dimension of depth in the form of barrel smoke and toasted bread aromas. This wine has a pleasant mouthfeel and a riper citrus flavor of lemon and orange rind that combines with vanilla from the barrel to form an orange creamsicle quality. 10 months aging in French oak with 36% new oak. |
