These barrels over-deliver, resulting in a wine of astounding purity and density. Black Label is a story of two alter egos coming together: Leopoldina Vineyard meets Fortuna Vineyard. The core of Black Label comes from Leopoldina Vineyard, perched high atop eastern Oakville. This is complimented by fruit from the Fortuna vineyard in eastern Oakville, and this wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has ultra-fine tannins, flawless balance, and a regal, age-worthy style that has so much to love. It, however, is not going to be for the instant gratification crowd and this actually shut down pretty quickly with air. I would hide bottle for 4-6 years and it s going to cruise over the following two decades in cold cellars.".
