| Description: | Ripe pear and quince aromas, a hint of smoke and mineral, plus an understated buttery aroma. On the palate there is a rich, creamy texture balanced by fresh acidity and tension that leads to a lingering finish. This village-level lieu-dit lies in the centre of the appellation just south of the village, on the other side of the road from Les Champs Gain. The fruit was picked early in 2020 to ensure proper balance, and the grapes were gently pressed and fermented in large used casks. |
