Pure, old school Napa Valley aromatics of ripe black fruits, spring flowers, cassis, truffle, and new leather all emerge on the nose, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a layered, multi-dimensional mouthfeel, building, fine-grained tannins, and a great, great finish. As with the other 2018s here, this beauty flirts with perfection and is going to have 25+ years of prime drinking. |
