| Description: | Allen Meadows of Burghound writes: "As is usually the case, Frdric Esmonin didn't have much to say about the 2021 growing season beyond noting that "like almost everyone, we got killed by the frost and in all my years, I have never seen such damage from a springtime frost. Temperatures descended to -7 C and at that level, it wouldn't have mattered if we put out warming candles or not. Volumes were off fully 70% and to express it differently, we made 30 barrels instead of 90 to 100! It is easily the smallest harvest ever for us as it was even smaller than 2003. The only good news is that the quality is actually very good, and the style is much more classic than the trio of 2018 to 2020." The 2021s were bottled in September 2022." |
