| Description: | 92 Vm /90 Bh. Deep red-ruby color. Explosive, vibrant nose melds black raspberry, violet, licorice and bitter chocolate. Plush, sweet and tangy, with tactile dark berry and dark chocolate flavors saturating the mouth. Powerful, concentrated village wine with compelling sweetness and no heaviness. Finishes very long, with lingering notes of bitter chocolate, licorice and violet. This is delicious right now but has the stuffing to age. - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media. This is markedly ripe yet appealingly fresh with its perfumed yet earthy array of red and dark currant scents. I very much like the intensity and tension suffusing the attractively textured, focused and powerful medium-bodied flavors that possess first-rate depth on the mouth coating, firm and impressively persistent finale.
