Tasting Notes,. Nose: The aromas show quince, oiled leather, prunes, lavender, persimmons, fennel, cocoa, mahogany, dark roasted coffee and violets to conjure a svelte allurement to imbibe. Palate: On the palate Sempe is much drier than the nose implied; it begins with the aromas as flavors and build to include black tea, raisins, allspice and roasted filberts. Finish: The finish starts with a sharp fruit burst and then leads to a long warm, spice-filled finish. This is an excellent, traditional V.s.o.p. Armagnac to sip or use in an exquisite cocktail. |
