| Description: | The Cornet & Co. Banyuls is made from 100% Grenache Noir in a "rimage" style, meaning an oxygen-free environment of stainless steel is required. Banyuls is known for making dessert wines almost exclusively, producing wines in a manner of which is brighter and less alcoholic than the more famous Port. Sweet raisin qualities, plums, powdered chocolate, raspberry, blackberry, and an enveloping soft acidity. This truly does pair classically with bitter chocolate. |
