| Description: | Description: Located a mere 10 miles from the Tyrrhenian coast at 300 meters above sea level. The vines enjoy a Medierranean climate balanced by cool sea breezes. The estate was born in 1997 by Agostino Lenci, he purchased property in a small town of Magliano in Maremma Toscana. After receiving rave reviews from top critics and consumers it was eventually granted DOC status by the Italian governmernt. The wine displays fresh, open air-sea aromas. Pale yellow straw color with aromas of banana, white flowers, and sea-faring character. The palate reveals a creamy, medium-bodied texture with good mineral clay and alluvial character. Hints of cassava and/or banana on the finish. Food pairings: Fish, shellfish, lobster, pesto pasta, poultry, salad, vegetables, olive oil, calamari, anti-pasta, etc. |
