These craft spirits came from the centuries-old traditional cellars in the town of Condom in the Gersâ"the heart of France's Armagnac region. In the summer of 2018, Raj Peter Bhakta purchased the estate and set out on a mission to restore this illustrious Armagnac producer back to its former glory. Tasting Notes,. Nose: Quite floral with notes of prunes and caramel and gingerbread. Candied orange and marrons glacĂŠs. Stewed English breakfast tea. Fresh green walnuts. Chocolate covered orange peel. Palate: Rich and powerful yet not overwhelming. Unctuous sensation with lots of ripe fruit and Christmas pudding richness. Well-balanced and complex.
