Description: | History,. The house of Dupeyron Armagnac was founded over a century ago by Joseph Dupeyron, who was awarded a gold medal for his exceptional Armagnac at Universal Exhibition in Paris 1900. These craft spirits came from the centuries-old traditional cellars in the town of Condom in the Gersthe heart of Frances Armagnac region. In the summer of 2018, Raj Peter Bhakta purchased the estate and set out on a mission to restore this illustrious Armagnac producer back to its former glory. Tasting Notes,. Nose: Quite floral with notes of prunes and caramel and gingerbread. Candied orange and marrons glacs. Stewed English breakfast tea. Fresh green walnuts. Chocolate covered orange peel. Palate: Rich and powerful yet not overwhelming. Unctuous sensation with lots of ripe fruit and Christmas pudding richness. Well-balanced and complex. Finish: Mellow, well- integrated tannins with a touch of dryness on the finish. |
