Reserve.\r\n\r\nAbout Fattoria Montecchio\r\nThe history of the Fattoria Montecchio is intertwined with that of\u00a0the Nuti family\u00a0starting from the distant 1973, when Ivo Nuti, originally from Cerreto Guidi, a stone's throw from the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, became one of the most important tanning entrepreneurs of Santa Croce sull'Arno, decides to buy the estate that belonged, in the eighteenth century, to the Marquises Torrigiani, and\u00a0bring it back to its former glory\u00a0.\r\nAfter all, wine has always been a\u00a0great passion\u00a0for Ivo, cultivated alongside his job as an entrepreneur, and only here, in the heart of the\u00a0Chianti Classico\u00a0and his native Tuscany, to which he was viscerally linked, could such a story be born.\r\nWith the help of\u00a0his wife Maria\u00a0\u2013 who today continues to write important chapters in the great book of Fattoria Montecchio, together with their three\u00a0children\u00a0, Andrea, Fabrizio and Riccardo \u2013 Ivo first of all takes care of recovering the manor house, then of giving it new life to what is the beating heart of the estate, the vineyards, leaving nothing to chance.\r\nChianti Classico, our territory, our history\r\nThere are places literally kissed by luck or, as in the case of Fattoria Montecchio, by Bacchus.\r\nAfter all, the Belpaese is historically a land of wine;\u00a0here stood the ancient region of Enotria, in the South, but in more recent times that of Chianti Classico is undoubtedly the territory with the most fascinating and deep-rooted history.\r\nHere, between Siena and Florence, wine has been produced for centuries with considerable success, so much so that for the great Florentine noble families it has always been an important business, thanks, then as now, to well-established commercial relationships with neighboring countries, where Chianti wine was all the rage.
