| Description: | Why hadn't we thought of this before? This charming and bright vino rosso has been a staff and customer favorite on our shelves for quite some time. Of course it should be a Wine of the Month! A blend of the three most important red varieties of the region - Barbera, Nebbiolo and Dolcetto - "Cino" melds the best attributes of the trio. Barbera's pure red juiciness, Dolcetto's verve and snap, and Nebbiolo's dusty herbs come together beautifully as one entity. Hand picked grapes from 40+ year old vines are vinified in tank and left there to rest until bottling. No oak is employed which maintains the freshness of the fruit and keeps the price down. All in all this is a lively and friendly northern Italian red that's a perfect match for antipasto, charcuterie, pasta dishes and hard cheeses. |
