| Description: | Evodia is superstar importer Eric Solomon's own project. It over delivers at its price point with aromas of dark cherries. The satisfying palate offers plenty of depth with ripe (but not jammy) black cherries intermixed with licorice and earth. It possesses just enough balancing acidity and velvety tannins. The vineyards for Evodia are among the highest sites in the province of Aragon, at an average of nearly 3,000 feet above sea level. The grapes were hand harvested and partially destemmed. The wine matured in a combination of concrete and oak barrels. Enjoy Evodia with Iberian sheeps' milk cheese, Spanish pisto, or beef and veggies off the grill. |
