| Description: | 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Carignan. The best wines in Languedoc come from vines planted at altitude. This is a clear example, the grapes grown on 40 cool, rocky terraces that overlook the fertile plains below. A firm, grainy, tannic texture is balanced by a refreshing acidity, with attractive aromas of violets, garrigue, strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry, followed by pepper and licorice on the palate. A very tasty and approachable red. |
