Description:	92-94 Wa / 90-92 Vm / 89-92 Bh. The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux has a dense, slightly sultry bouquet that gradually unfurls and reveals blackberry, briary and wild strawberry aromas laced with granite and a touch of smoke. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, fleshy and generous with a fine bead of acidity, fanning out with a sense of confidence on the minerally finish. I like the swagger of this Gevrey and it should age with panache. Neal Martin. Bright medium red. Tighter and more subdued on the nose than the old-vines village offering, hinting at black cherry, violet and licorice. Juicy and spicy but pliant too, conveying a fine-grained texture to its flavors of dark berries, spices, leather and game. A bit more tannic than the old-vines Gevrey villages, without that wine's early balance and likely to require more patience upon its release. Tasting note: Firm reduction presently dominates the nose. Otherwise there is excellent volume and concentration to the sappy and velvety middle weight flavors that display focused power on the energetic finish where the very firm tannins are seamlessly integrated.
