| Description: | Made at the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, this is a full-on whisky straight from the cask with 55.7% ABV. Lightly peated, with smoky, sooty, earthy, salty aromas, as well as green apples, stewed rhubarb, vanilla, walnut, and shortbread, with a long, warming finish of pencil shavings and licorice. Add a few drops of water to balance the alcohol and open up the expressive flavors. |
