| Description: | Mike Schieffer is assistant winemaker at Turley and his wife Kara Maraden is Director of Viticulture at Foley. This is their new project, which we're particularly excited about. Mike spent a year in Hunter Valley, and was captivated by the Sémillon they make there. This is his Napa take: barrel fermented, no MLF, with some lees ageing resulting in a fresh, waxy, nutty wine with aromas of peach and apricot, with a light body low in alcohol. |
