| Description: | The wine displays a deep, almost opaque, black cherry color core surrounded by a narrow dark pink rim. The offering on the nose is a pronounced brambly fruit. Ripe black cherry with hints of bitter-sweet chocolate, cedarwood/cigar box and pine forest. On the palate the wine is dry, medium(-) body with mouth-watering acidity and medium(+) level of firm structured tannins. The flavors are a nedium(-) intensity of bakers chocolate, cedarwood/cigar box with a ripe black cherry sweetness on the backend. There might be a hint of dried black currant. The finish is clean with a medium length of lingering backers chocolate, black cherry fruit and the sweetness of dried black currant. Please Note: This wine needs about one(1) hour(+) poured into a decanter to experience the characteristics described below. When first opened the wine seemed closed and tight with only the firm tannins being offered with a very slight hint of blacks fruits on the nose and the palate. Reviewed by:.
