Citrus is the obvious aromatic but also notes of blossom, struck-match reduction, some waxiness, vanilla and spice. The palate, meanwhile, has both heft and verve – a solid core of fruit matched by fresh acidity. What you get when vineyard, vinology and vintage all come together for good. |
