This is a great example of the vintage and all of its glory. It has spiciness from the Zinfandel, fresh, lush red fruit and dark, red fruit tones from the Syrah, with a kiss of chocolate from the Merlot. Sumptuous tannins from the Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignane envelope the mouth and linger beyond each sip, and a smile is brought to one's face. 44% Zinfandel, 38% Syrah, 10% Petite Sirah, 3% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Other.
