The attack is very direct, supported by good, smooth substance. A very well-balanced wine. There are also notes of roasted coffee and light tobacco, accompanied by soft, ripe tannins. Good length with subtle empyreumatic notes." Terroir is clay-gravel-sand. Grape varieties: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Average age of vines: 30 to 40 years-old. Vinification: Maceration for 25 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats. Aging: 60% of the wine is aged in new French oak barrels for twelve months. 40% f the wine is aged in vats. A minimal quantity of sulphites is used at this stage. A Vinonueva favorite in the right bank of Bordeaux. Great price/value. Producer: Château Haut-Goujon
