Siduri Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir Rated 92WS

Vintage: 2014
Description: Wine Spectator Review. Rated 92. Deftly balanced, rich and focused, with zesty wild berry and blueberry flavors, accented by shades of cedary oak, licorice and mocha. Ends with a lingering finish that echoes the core elements. Drink now. Wine Tasting Notes. This Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a blend Of Pinot Noir from the John Sebastiano, Clos Pepe and Cargasacchi Vineyards. The Siduri Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is our most concentrated and opulent Appellation Pinot Noir. This all begins with the natural geography of the Sta. Rita Hills Appellation, which is the only West-East valley on the West Coast of North America. This funnels the cooling winds directly into the area and onto the vineyards, leading to smaller grape clusters and tiny berry sizes. And this results in darkly colored wines with incredible color and concentration but also great levels of natural acidity.
