| Description: | 95 points Decanter. Floral, citrus and apple nose. The palate is packed with stone fruit flavours and kept fresh with lemony acidity and a persistent, salty-nutty finish. Delicious and very classic. (dwwa 2019) (5/2019) K&L Notes. The Choblet family established their vineyards in 1945 in what would become the Muscadet Côtes de Grandlieu appellation. Now three generations deep, brothers Herve and Nicolas Choblet work together from vine to bottle to make some of the most interesting and dynamic Muscadets in the region. The vines are planted on a mix of mica-schist but mostly granitic soils, lending brilliant mineral tones to the wine. It is aged in tank for 8 months sur lie before bottling.
