| Description: | 80% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Meunier. Grand Cru vineyards of Avize, Cramant, and Oger. Separate parcels vinified in small (20-30hl) stainless steel tanks, no malolactic fermentation. Aged for 8 years sur lattes, dosage with MCR or traditional liqueur. For the Cuve Exhilarante, Patrick wanted a cuve representative of the estate. Along with an identical core to the Chardonnay Millsim, the old vine parcels in Cramant and Avize, it includes 10% each of Patricks best Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Since the Pinots are not grown in Grand Cru communes, Exhilarante is not a Grand Cru. Nevertheless, it is undoubtedly Patricks most complex wine. Beacky Wasserman & Co. |
