Chartreuse Green, 750ml
Description: | First produced in 1840, the "Liqueur de Santé" was the original liqueur made from the recipe of the Elixir Végétal de la Grande Chartreuse. Due to its immense popularity, Father Garnier, the attorney and responsible for the liqueurs, officially named it 'Chartreuse Verte' and registered the "Chartreuse" mark in 1852. To this day, it continues to be produced and manufactured by the Chartreux Fathers at their Aiguenoire distillery in Entre-Deux-Guiers (Isère - France). This product is made with a blend of alcohol, sugar, water, and vegetable substances from 130 different plants, including bark, roots, spices, and flowers. A robust, herbaceous aroma with a hint of peppery spice. On the palate, refreshing mint and hints of pine and citrus. A bittersweet finish with notes of tea. Taste lingers on the tongue for a satisfying experience. Type: Liquor Country: France Alc%: 55 Proof: 110 |
