Tasting note: This is also ultra-elegant but more complex with hints of spice and dried flowers adding depth to the very fresh red pinot fruit and stone scents. The detailed and racy medium-bodied flavors possess plenty of underlying tension that imparts a real sense of focused energy to the mouth coating and beautifully well-delineated finish. A classic and very understated Caillerets. Sweet Spot. Outstanding.-Allen Meadows, Burghound Quite introvert, fresh and lightly animal. Very marked acidity. Still youthful with a grainy texture.
