| Description: | From a 0.17ha, domaine-owned parcel located high on the Chambertin slope, this is a cool terroir and one of the last to be picked. Following a traditional vinification in open-top wooden vats, the wine is aged over two winters in cask (70% new). There is a rugged, savoury aspect to the dark fruit aromas, with hints of spice and earth. The texture is compact and tannic, and this should open well with age. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2039 |
