Moonlight Race is named after a channel of water that passes through the Burn Cottage property -- one of the hundreds of "races" that was created during the early years of European immigration to bring water down from the mountains. The Moonlight Race has vibrancy, a rich mid palate and power. It's light to medium-bodied with a delicate palate of red berry, plum, herbs, strawberry, tea, and earthy flavors finishing with a touch of white pepper & cacao. There's plenty of concentration to ensure that it will continue to improve and gain complexity over the years to come. |
