Long evolving finish." - Winery Notes. About 95% Schiava (aka Vernatsch) and 5% Lagrein, grown in the middle of the St. Magdalener hill, from the exceptional Vigna Rondell. "This St. Magdalener was modelled on a Burgundy: only the best parcels with the oldest vines are used for the Vigna Rondell. This is a St. Magdalener that combines power and elegance and is occasionally reminiscent of a Pinot Noir." - Winery Notes. Vines are pergola trained, and the juice is fermented in steel, then aged in large wood for a few months. |
