The Merseguera grape, native to the Valencia area of Spain, is prized for its tolerance to heat, but never really recognized for its aromas and flavors. Bodega Mustiguillo has changed this, planting at high altitudes, lowering yields and aging in acacia barrels. Aromas of bay leaf, eucalyptus, white nectarine and a hint of white flowers.
