| Description: | 92-94 Vm / 91-94 Jm.veins of apricot and wild peach. This has a little more flair than the Folatières with a clean and precise finish. Delicious. This will be difficult to resist in its youth.--Neal Martin, Vinous Media. A full, even quite deep, yellow colour. May yet be fined before bottling, though Diana does not think that the colour is related to botrytis. Significant depth of white fruit here, succulent, less acidity evident but that may be because there is more depth of fruit. Certainly the Combettes has the greater personality of the two Puligny 1ers Crus. Drink from 2026-2030. Tasted: December 2022.--Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy |
