| Description: | (90 Points). End of March 2021, The Wine Advocate. The 2019 Malagousia is unoaked and comes in at 13.6% alcohol. Another super Malagousia from this winery, this shows good concentration-many don't-while remaining aromatic, expressive and lively. Textured and full of flavor, this is a winery that is consistently getting this grape right, which is not surprising given the owner's long association with the grape. The only remaining question is whether they can age and develop. That remains an issue that may give them a ceiling and makes me a little nervous about high scores, but in the meanwhile, it seems super. Don't hesitate to drink it young, when it will likely be at its best. |
