Description: | Château Coutet is a Premier Cru Classé from the Barsac appellation. Château Coutet is approximately 85% Sémillon and 15% Sauvignon Blanc (depending on the vintage). The grapes come from 95 acres of vines planted in red clay, sand and gravel soil, with limestone subsoil. The wines are fermented and aged for 18 months in oak barrels, emerging a pale yellow with gold reflections. Vintage: 1998 Producer: Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.a.
