| Description: | We have become big believers in the ability of Chardonnay to do very well in Walla Walla. As a winemaker, you can't get any closer to your wines than by actually growing them yourself. This is the first year that we have our own estate Chardonnay as part of the blend right from the Flying B Estate where our sister winery, Doubleback, is located. The new vintage is slightly golden in color and rips out of the glass with lemon zest, hints of straw, recently harvested wheat fields, and finishes with freshly cut Fuji apples. Tremendous balance of richness and acid, a bit more texturally rich than in years past, and a bright and fresh finish that lasts for a long time. We are excited for another great Elizabeth!. |
