This is an intriguing expression with impressive depth, concentration, elegance and power. The Vigna del Gris parcel (slightly larger than one hectare) was purchased in 1989, and the first vintage to be released in 1994 was made in the estate's new winery. The vines were first planted in 1969 and are 40 years old, on average. This wine presents firm, structured tannins that make the wine inaccessible now, but that will carry it forward during its aging process. |
