| Description: | 94 pts James Halliday August 2020 MV6, Oberlin, Abel and 777 clones from the estate Mappinga Vineyard, each vinified separately but in the same fashion: chilled for 36 hours, wild-fermented with 30% whole bunches, 30% whole berries, the balance destemmed, matured in French oak (15% new) for 10 months. Light colour; scented forest floor and berries, the palate fresh and juicy. |
