The wine does an amazing job of showing an earthy profile of mountain herb, cracked pepper, leather, pencil shaving and cigar box. Dark fruits of blackcurrants and black cherries provide a lifted freshness to the earth components. A stellar showing of "mountain fruit" that's appealing to both Bordeaux drinkers as well as Napa/Sonoma drinkers. |
