Description: | 91 pts Wine Advocate Issue #238 Aug 2018 The 2016 Wallace Shiraz-Grenache is the same 78/22 blend that the past two vintages have been, but it seems a touch darker and richer on the nose and palate, if perhaps a little less complex and nuanced. It's still a solid mouthful of bold Barossa fruit, leaning toward black cherries in this vintage, with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a long, supple finish. 91 pts James Suckling Aug 2018 An attractive, ripe and red-fruited blend that delivers freshness and supple, juicy appeal. The palate is easygoing with smooth tannins, which are carrying a lot of tangy raspberry flavors. 89 pts Wine Spectator Web Only - 2018 Juicy and plush, with creamy and ripe black cherry, raspberry and pomegranate flavors that really sing against the details of cedar, spearmint and milk chocolate, in a harmonious mix. Drink now through 2028. |
