| Description: | Vinous: 92 points. (fermented and aged in a combination of new and used French oak barrels for eight months; pH 3.1) Light bright gold. Ripe peach, orange pith and a suggestion of honey on the powerfully scented nose, joined by a subtle hint of toasty lees. Juicy and broad in the mouth, offering Meyer lemon, pear nectar and peach pit flavors accented by a dusty mineral nuance. Silky and focused on the finish, which shows good lift, minerally cut and impressive persistence. This bottling has an admirable track record for aging. |
