It keeps a terrific savory backbone to go with the candied fruit from whole cluster fermentation. Light beams of fresh fruit aromas, led by red cherries, strawberries and watermelons. Neutral French oak provides nutmeg, chai tea and a mild pepper note. As the wine maker states, it embodies, "Jakkels trou met wolf se vrou", a light rain when the sun is shining. |
