Intensely drinkable and highly refreshing, this fiercely flavorful yet light-bodied masterpiece from the Rheinhessen's somewhat red-centric Volker Schäfer packs bold, berryish fruit, striking an exceptional, characterful balance. Sehr gut! Serving Suggestion: Wurstsalat (sausage salad) w/ gherkins, onion slices, vinaigrette, & mustard. General Tso's chicken (yeah, it's not authentic, but it's comfort food!) w/ broccoli & lo mein. |
