Ronca di Cialla is devoted to several local varieties, making wines with a traditional spirit. This wine is easy to love and for all of you fans of old-world Pinot Noir, this wine should be right up your alley. This is a chiseled, fine bone structure wine, with aromas of red and blackcurrants, underbrush and green peppercorns along with some balsam notes from the integrated oak ageing. The mouthful is vibrant with fresh acidity, 'minerality,' and delicate fine grained tannins. Aged in French barrique for 14-18 months, followed by bottle ageing for up to 36 months before release. |
