As is common in Alsace, despite being labeled as Pinot Blanc, it is actually about 80% Auxerrois and 20% Pinot Blanc. Compared to Trimbach's also outstanding Sylvaner wine, this is made in large quantities (roughly 200,000 bottles a year)." |
