| Description: | It comes entirely from vines over 45 years old in three different parcels in Montgueux-La Grande Cte, Les Paluets and Bouillerate-and it's the first of Lassaigne's wines to be made in barrel. The palate it's dominated by its ripe, nearly peachy fruitiness, with a saline minerality turning increasingly prominent towards the finish. It feels firm and vivid in its tension, and ultimately driven more by that salty sense of chalkiness more than any other component. Jancis Robinson 17.5 - Very small production.
