| Description: | Domaine Ricard, "Le Petiot" Touraine Blanc, Loire Valley, France 2013 100% Sauvignon Blanc Exotic Tropical Fruit, Flinty, Very Pretty Vincent Ricard is the latest generation (of many) to farm his 13 hectares of vineyards, but the first to make wine for sale under the family name. Instead of selling off his grapes to the local co-op, he makes small batches of exotic, impressive Sauvignon Blanc that would have only lost their character if they had been blended away at the co-op. This is a lovely, pretty wine that brings us great joy and is very easy to like! Serving Suggestions: A wonderful wine with sushi and aged goat cheeses, particularly ones aged in ash. |
